The FDW is here finally!

I still picked up FDW who is not well last thursday evening. She is better now. She got gastric problem from previous employment which last abt 2.5 months. So far so good. Let us just pray for the best of it. Wouldnt dare to think too far too much since nothing have come out of it so far for me. Lets work hard for it.

Should be going back to work tomorrow afternoon. Unless something else surfaced.

Again.

Last evening agent called me that i may want to consider selecting again since she may need to do scan for her non-stop mens which she do not have the money to do now. And dont know if the medicine will help. Ask me to interview another one today noon. But older with higher salary.

Of course i want to consider and interview another one. What if i still insist to employ her and she fainted at home when no one is at home, or she collapsed while sending my girl to school?

Really do not understand why thing keep happening, one after another.

We will see later if the 38 years old is alright.

Fortunate & unfortunate

Fortunate, my application for the FWD is approved and can pick her up today but last min agent called to inform me she is not well, will need to bring her to doc to ensure that she is fine before handing over to me. Still fortunate I believed. As it is approved and before picking her up.

Unfortunate, early morning kena bombed. Shall not say who, but really make my day dark & black! Until now today the person still the same, for so so so many years. It is really my unfortunate that i have tolerate and tolerate. Well, I cannot dont tolerate. May be One day I will just leave here & let go off every thing. No need to find me, perhape, that will make a happier me.

I believe this one day will come! Just dont ask why I leave.

Not Again!

Just received call from agent. The maid i selected got medical conditions. Need to re select. OMG! I am near breakdown!

How wish i can turn back the clock to 20 years!

Seems like i don have any fortunate and happy things to share on my blog since last year! I m so sick & tired! If only i can be irresponsible. Let go everything and go! YES EVERYTHING!

may be the eye lasik and chemical peel i did last year was something I m glad to share.

Bad time spent @ samsung service centre

This time bring in my jet to repair. Simply cant start up even i have changed the battery. Will never buy any more samsung phone. Wait 1 hr + for 7 q no to be my turn. Just because of an old lady asking how to use her omina 2 phone! OMG! too tired to say....

Maid again

Yesterday agent called me to inform me that the maid i selected failed her medical check-up, she has got active hep. Not too sure is A or B, just unfit to work.

So sad. I need to reselect. Today, i selected 1 with a few heads. But was told by the agent she looking for expat family and ask for every sunday off....

Wow, even maids are hard to choose and find....finally found one, hope everything goes well...haizzz

Recently my colleague and a supervior went to Maldives, they went separately but on the same week. Saw the pictures taken by my colleague, so beautiful and romantic. I shall include this trip in my wish list....hahaha so nice!

iS 1 yEaR aLrEaDy.

How times flies! Is 1 year already. Last year at the same time so many things happened. Too many. But thing do repeat itself this year, I fall sick on the same day. Today I run toilet 4 times since 5am with terrible pain, cold sweat. Don like this feeling. The same day, memories will just flow back, until a time i don recall, i will stop posting.

This 1 yEaR is really long long long one. Maid gone home, not happy with gradings, sent back maid, maid run away, other ppl back stabbed us, fall off with "m" and the most hateful thing ever happened.

Until now the run away maid hasn't closed. I think she is still with her embassy. She work for me less than 2 months but run away 5 months, and run away from agency also. Terrible. Last month wanting to employ a Filipino maid aged 50 recommended by a friend. However, after i have sign all the documents, her current employer decided not to let her go and did not inform me until I called the agent 2 weeks later. Wasted mine 2 weeks waiting for her. else my new maid shld be here already, haiz.... let hope everything goes well for this one.

what a challenging year I have ~ 2009.

Emo year!

This year is an emo year for many of us. And i have already experiencing it. But sometime can control sometime cannot. Sometime just feel like letting it go. I m too exhausted. Really exhausted! I feel like i m running out of energy pretty soon.

Apart from that. Some of my colleagues are leaving already. Feeling really sad. But to them is job progressing. Wish them all the best though we are still working in the same company but different department. I guess there will be few more to leaving since they have obtained their degree. And to those still searching, I shall wish them Best of Luck!

Ren Ri Today

CNY is almost gone by half. Din have the mood for CNY this year cos of my extraction of the wisdom tooth. Was so so sensitive the last few days from eve from 4th or 5th day of CNY. I shld have done it only after CNY. So sad. But the greatest thing, i have new clothes to wear everyday till after 15th day of CNY. Yeah! Bought until i lost count over a few months. Some i even forgotten.

I also received my order for tian lu from bryan laoshi today and i got a free gift of a laughing buddha from him as well. So surprised!

This year super no luck, hope i will not encounter unlucky things. But i had a feeling that the new maid application is not going to be smooth.

Hope i can HUAT AH!

I m back!

MIA for too long almost forgot my pw...

well, has not been a smooth one the past weeks! but did alot of things. Biggest ever, my wisdom tooth and cost me $800!!! lucky can use medisave, else i m broke! yucks! the feeling, discomfort and pain went beyond my tolerance of my 3 c-sectn. aiyo!!!

i had it remove last tue and still sore now, this sat still need to do filling for the molar infront as wisdom tooth cause it too decay part. haizzzzzzzzz..... hope by then i can eat & chew better... my abalone...yummy!!!!!!

another issue, maid. I will be getting a filipino maid, age 50! recommended by my friend. No choice. I need 1 who is capable & trusty as mum has got some problem. Hopefully my application for her transfer will be smooth sailing. Else I will be in big trouble. As the previous maid issue has not been resolved. She ran away from the agent now with the embassy. Not sure if she has left Singapore. Lucky thing is that her permit was cancelled under my name, not my problem anymore, though still have some outstanding issue.

And I have bought alot of new tops this year....hahaha broke my record. 15 or 16!

Good Nap

Today we didnt go out because we have 2 appointment at home. To tune the piano and wait for the children's cabinet to arrive. Appointment at 1pm & 4pm.

So i have a nap this afternoon. WOOOO 2 hrs! for so many weeks i didnt have a good nice afternoon nap! This was great!

And other time was to packet their cabinet and doing my "work". Well, it is more suitable for ladies! Now "working" for Valentine's!

Is 15 Jan already, and i have not started my 1st blog this year!

Everyday rushing to reach their school by 6.30pm to pick them. Then rush back to mum place for dinner, then rush home, and rush to finish their homework.....and everyday is rushing rushing rushing!

This my lifestyle this year! And still wanna find time for my sideline! heehee....

I want to blog about my eye lasik done end of Dec.

I did not go to the popular clinic instead, i went to the one at wheelock place. At least i dont feel pain, tearing, only slight discomfort for about 2 hours after the op. Probably is drowsy, the eye just want to close, otherwise everything is ok. Though sleeping pills & painkiller are given, i don need them at all.

The whole thing took about 1.5 hr though the lasik itself is only few mins.

When there, they need u to paid first. Then check the eye again by the staff then by the doctor. Then they will bring u to place ur belonging in the locker and put on their gown, no need to change. Then they will clean your eyes and drop some liquid into your eyes and to be checked by the doctor again. When the OP room is ready, they will bring u in. Where u lay down like the dentist chair.

The 1st part of the lasik will begin. One eye will be covered. The other eye will be clamped for about 20-30 seconds. This is the most u can feel. The clamp. Then the doctor will start to count down 25, 20, 15, etc. and done! The pressure will release! During this 20+ sec, doc will ask you not to swallow, this prodcess is call "intralase" where no blade is used to do corneal flap.

Then the nurse will rinse both eyes with cold saline water and rest in the room for a few mins for the air-bubbles to form. Then they will bring you to the next room where the lasik will be done.

There, u will lie down like in the operation room. Then they will wrap you up with aluminim foil instead of blanket. (i dont know why) Again 1 eye will be covered, the other 1 will be clamp open only, no pressure this time, just to keep open the eye. Look at the beam light where the doctor will flap over the corneal then everything is blur and nothing can be seen liao, and within seconds it is done!.

Then u need to rest for 10-15 mins before they let u go. And eye sight corrected! Finally I can discard the spec after more than 20 years! But there are this Lao Hua to come in few years time! I m contented even with just few years without glasses!

Actually Lasik is best with degree less than 600. And not the higher the better!

So to those still thinking, i seriously think this is worth! Just with about 2-4 weeks downtime, where swimming and diving to be avoided.

Finally, the LAST DAY OF 2009!

This year 2009 is not a fruitful year for me, but an very eventful which i do not wish to go through and be remembered again in my life. Or rather i hope i could have skip it off my years of life. Well after all today is the last day of the year, whatever had happened, let me pray that it will not occur again in my life ahead.

My wish list on the right of my blog, i m glad that i have achieved 2 of them, which is chemical peel (still on-going) and eye lasik which i just did it on 29 Dec 2009....hahaha....so now i free of glassess expect sunglassess....:)

The other 2 wishes, still trying very to achieve them.

So my new wish list or resolution for next year.

I can used up all the 24 hours a day, instead of 8 hours sleeping. I hardly can do & finish my stuff this year without rushing thru like a bullet train, which i feel very exhausted and frustrated. I don't even have the extra time to blog...so sad.

I guess i do need a helper with my housework! so i can blog more and do more for my little business...heehee...and of course spent much more time with the children as they all will be in primary school next year and the eldest will be sitting for the PSLE in OCT. My aim for her is to achieve at 250. Hope we can achieve it.

I also need time to relax and do breathing exercise.

Last Week

Last week was good. I attended the talk at wheelock for the eye lasik and a very important reunion dinner at my Secondary school, celebrating 25th anniversay.

WOW......many many friends i have not met since we left school, almost 20 years. Although there are more I would like to see did not come. Hope to see them next year and i miss them all! I miss the life then! Those were the time! But i least from there i managed to reconnect to Evelyn Tan.....heehee....

After the talk, I have made appointment to do a pre-evaluation for the eye next month...so excited and abit scare.......:)

I think the reunion last week was one of my happiest day this year! After so many unhappiness!

And realised richard is reading my blog(s). ooooppppsssss!!!! one old friend too!

I look forward meeting evelyn next month! and a gathering in the pipeline suggested by Wanyi!....

The teachers and principals like never grow old, they still looks very much the same to us! But we have grown up and old....hahahaha....

Eye lasik

Today, i ask my colleagues again....hahaha this thursday we heading to another clinic "Shinagawa" for the lasik talk, now is at wheellock place, nearer to MRT.

Now i m considering the LSC or this Shinagawa....

give me ur opinion if u have been to either of them. For what i know, my cousin and boss and a colleague's sister have been to LSC.

Its Friday!

It is Friday, supposed to be happy?

Later will be going out with friends, we have planned to meet today few weeks ago, but at the very last min, 2 of them cannot make it, a bit disappointed. Still go ahead since there are still 3 of us and Iris's girl, as she has no school today.

Eye Lasik

It has been a long long time since i last blog about things. May be i should resume blogging. Even since we have finished the project in Mid-Oct, we gone back to our operation, but is very busy. The volume of work has increased by about 20% and 1 of my colleague has converted to part-time without replacing, that is we have to do more. Lately, i have been staying back, partly bec of this, partly, other reasons.

This evening i went to a forum with a few colleagues, topic, eye lasik at Paragon. Ha, lucky we went together, else i probably cant find the clinic....there are different lift serving different levels. But the lifts are located at different part of the building, we took about 15 mins to get to the clinic. Like playing maze.

Because I want to lasik my eyes, really cant stand wearing glasses and contact lens. But need to find a good time, cos my colleague is working part-time, have to ensure both of them are around then i can go. And also need to arrange someone to pick me up after the lasik, this is tough! WHO?

After the forum, we saw a man, believed to have just done the lasik, was wearing the so called- protector, aiyo, still need to tape around, so ulgy leh....need to think twice if i were to take cab? walk around with the protector in Orchard Road....hahahaha... need to check out the specialist clinic opposite my house, if they do lasik there, i will consider doing here than at Paragon....finish just walk home....heehee....

Actually I still have many to say, but just too tired.

ps: maid issue still haven settle, the MOM haven called me to go again! so funny, it so long.....

Effective Relaxation Methods

Just realised that i went on course on 23 Oct 2009 - Effective Relaxation method and it was the same instructor as the course i went 2 years ago on 22, 23 Oct 2007 - Stress Management Through Body Awareness. He is a Ang mo. This was a 1 day course. Super relax, doing yoga, breathing, tai chi and etc..... fun...

I need some peace within! head & heart.

Latest update! My FDW ran away!

Last Monday morning my FDW ran away from my house, really caught me off-guarded. Now the case is still investigating with MOM. Will update the detail when the case is closed. Just met the officer last evening. Problematic. First time since i have maids 6 years ago. Too smart!. If you wan to know this maid is from which agent and details, you can email me. It is not nice for me to disclose here at the moment. But once case is closed I will sure share everything. Still pretty upsad with her. I would say she is scheming. Too bad, this time she really made a wrong move bah. Haiz!!!!!!!!!

Updates!

This is the longest break from blogging since I started blogging 2 years ago. Because of too many unhappiness, i din want to blog. Now i want to just update about myself. I am now selling my flat and looking for a flat nearer to my brother house so that come next year when my girls are in primary school, i may do without domestic helper since the latest i have now is also giving me headache. It will be quite busy for me to blog, as i need to show my flat to buyers most of the evenings and weekend. However, my flat is located in a very good location, we din advertised just posted on internet and there are already 6 buyers came within a week. Now they are just waiting for my valuation to be out.

And my office project will come to an end mid of OCT! YEAH! I big relieve for me as these 2 years is a torture to me to do this project I resisted so much!

As the same time I m aso doing some small selling on the blog but I did not link it here. Sorry to say is only for ladies. Some close friends knew about my the other blog. heehee....still thinking if i should link-up here. But ladies if u do interested to know just email me. I really hope one day i can live on selling my work rather than working for other people. Too much politic.

Extremely buzy.

Lao zha Bor

This morning the so call devoted Buddhist came to our section to photocopy, i purposely walk to her and "suan" her, " your side copier spoilt issit?", her reply was not friendly last time, "we where got copier!". I walked off!.

If you dont have copier, where do u make photocopy before we shifted to here same floor as you (Lao zha bor)!

Now i super confirmed is her who tell-tale / back stab us loo.... u know when someone did something bad abt u, the expression and reaction is always different from normal time! That is the reaction and expression!

She always being so calculative towards us, always tell us our cost centre are different, then why do u use our copier?, our paper, our ink? Also like to meddle into our section stuff and staff. I wonder who is she! She is not even manager level loh.... just because she worked very long already!?

The management rather make her happy then giving us the 8 staff reasonable compensating! Is it worth to demoralise 8 staff to make 1 staff happy? And we are of different sections!

Shall call her LAO ZHA BOR since she is not young already hahahaha, though i will be old like her also!

Is Organisation too poor honour promises to staff?

We went back to work on Sunday, National Day for the stupid testing. We worked for more than 4 hours and we should be compensated 1 day off. The 1 day off was added to our leave system on Tuesday morning. But in the evening, section boss came to tell us, the HOD/management felt that we should not be giving 1 day off since we just exceeded by some 10 mins and tell us to GIVE AND TAKE AND NOT BE SO CALCULATIVE!

Is the Company too poor to honour promises, or

by giving us additional half a day they will have a piece of flesh cut off from the body or

they will lose alot of money!

I was too angry to tell my section boss, if we are calculative, we wouldnt have come to work from 4.30 to abt 9pm on Sunday, OUR National Day! And THE COMPANY cannot twist the word after we have done the work! And what about the time we travelled to and from HOME! I felt the company should not be so calculative and should GIVE AND TAKE! NOT US!

IT WAS A SUNDAY CUM NATIONAL DAY AND NIGHT!

However, we felt that this was tell-tale by a staff from another section to big boss that we should not be entitled to 1 day off and we all know who loh! ANY so sorry i m going to use nasty word: F U! and U are a devoted Buddhist YET u do such a low-graded things! It is not that we dint work more than 4 hours and what about we also startED early that day, just cannot finish!

Testing Testing

I just remembered last night, i have been doing testing for the past 2 years! OMG! is 2 years i have not been doing operations....and this testing suspposed to come to an end this OCT only! 2 more months to go and I have to work on public holidays, this National Day from 4.30 - 11.30 if we can finish. And another coming holiday in Sept, the Hari Raya! Damn!!! I hate it! I felt like I m con into doing this testing! 2 years ago i told bosses I dont want to do testing and I don like doing testing!, then they said, try lah!... try loh and my PB was affected, grading dropped and now worst, burnt my holidays!

I just feel cheated!!!! Well after doing testing for 2 years, I still dont like!. Met new boss last week for informal chat & told her i don want to do anymore testing after this, the 2nd phase coming...No No NO!

THIS YEAR IS JUST NOT MY YEAR! A TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE YEAR!

Buzy

Ya i have been quite buzy lately. Finally my new DW is here. Went to pick her up on Wednesday evening....hahaha looks different again from the bio-data, susposed to be fair, 1st look still dark to me, and very punky type....and 2nd look, ok, fairer la than those standard dark ones, errr still a bit punky, and she is those "tomboy" type leh....hahahaha...someone different this time....Pray harder for me please! I have 9 maids in 6 years! NON finished the contract of 2 years! May be a curse has been place on me! Some one just cant wait to see me suffer.... If there is a curse, PLEASE help me to break the curse!

That evening there, the agent update me about my previous maid. She was re-employed within a few days after i sent her to the agent. However, she is now back in Indo! The new employer also cannot tanhan her, i think much faster than me. So she is now back home, because according to the agent, she wanted to go back!...okok, at least I m not at fault! The only fault i have is to have choosen her! heehee.....
