Rock sugar

This is the rectangle rock sugar i mentioned in my previous post that cause that batch of enzyme to be bitter. The previous batch of Red dragon fruit, radish & 1 small tub of papaya, i used this rock sugar, ended up all of them become bitter. That should be the reason right, i really cannot think of other reason, cos i also made grapefruit using the normal cube rock sugar at that time, and it is so sweet & tasty. Thats why i didnt open this packet....






And this papaya below. I really cannot believe it!. I bought this papaya in green yesterday from Sheng Shiong and i dint open out, still in the plastic bag with newspapers as based until just now and it become this very ripe!!!(很神奇)也很生气...now i cant make this ripe papaya enzyme liao, and actually i have bought another green papaya from another sheng shiong on Sunday, it is still abit green...aiyo what happen? why suddenly they become ripe overnight!
Previously i bought the green papaya, also from sheng shiong, 1 week still not ripe...hazi if i din check just now, the papaya will be very very ripe by tomorrow...
