Enyzme - lime n Grapes

Today, i harvested this Lime & Grapes enzyme. The lime uneven skin ones were from my aunty's house , the smell is very nice... and different....but i haven taste, wait till cold first....:D

Lizard Trap

I got these traps boxes from carrefour, it cost me 20 pieces for $10, which is much cheaper than those selling at NTUC, i think 2 for about $4. Initially, i only managed to trap 1-2 lizards over a few days or a week, then i din follow up. Until one day, i was so terrified and angered by these creatures, they almost causes me to break my enzyme which im going to harvest. So i decided to trap them again. So i used 2 boxes, 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the living. 1st night, i trapped 1 lizard from the kitchen, then 2nd night 2 lizards in one night from the living room's trap!

Nestum Cake

Ingredients:
240g butter/margarine
200g castor sugar
1 tbsp honey
4 eggs
50g Nestum
200g self-raising flour, sifted
150ml

Put butter, sugar & honey into mixing bowl and cream till light
Add in eggs one by one, beating well after each addition till creamy
Add nestum and mxi well
Divide flour and milk into 3 parts and fold in alternately till well-combined
Pour mixture into 22cm lined and greased sq baking tin, baked in a pre-heated oven at 180 till golden brown and cooked, about 45 minutes.

Enjoy baking!

Yesterday, i harvested mine 1st Guava enzyme. It smell bitter, bec the top was not submerge however the overall taste is good...

Made this Guava enzyme last week. Not ready. Bought 3 to make them when i saw it at NTUC and look quitr fresh. This is the 1st time making Hope it will turn out nice.

Schizandra Berry 五味子

Just wanna share, i made another tub of Schizandra Pear Enzyme last night. I went to another chinese medical hall to buy the Schizandra Berry but it was so much more expensive.

The 1st time i bought 2 liang 俩= abt 70g for $2. But last night, the other medical hall charge me $5 for the same amount! Althought chinese herbs are cheap but this type of charging is so much more expensive. Next time you guys buy please ask how much is 1 liang 俩. Both the shops are in bedok, just that one is a very neighbourhood old shop while the other one in the central.

Braised dried scallop with Shimeji Mushroom spinach

This is the dish, looks like soup veg because, i put more scallop water, so that i will have more sauce....din look good, but it is very tasty :D

Shimeji Mushroom

Bought this white shimeji mushroom from NTUC this morning, so wanna share with u on how it looks like.

This is white ones, there is another type which is brown that i cook the 1st time, i suppose they taste the same bah....this is not cheap. A packet like cost $2.40...going to cook it tomorrow...again the braised dried scallop shimeji mushroom with Spinach.

Haha, this time i remember to bring the recipe from office....should be better taste!....

Nestum Cake

Made these Nestum cakes last sat, the mixture i pour into 3 trays and decorated 2 of the trays using cocoa powder making it looks like marble cake....
